After carrying out X-ray examination of maxillary molar to be extracted, appropriate processing of operation field and anesthesia are carried out. Remaining hard tissues of tooth crown are removed to the gum level by dental drilling machine with turbine handpiece. Molar roots are cut in the area of trifurcation until roots are completely separated from each other. Circular ligament and, if possible, periodontal ligaments are separated from each tooth root by means of periotome. Loosening and extraction of, first, separately each buccal root, and then palatal root of tooth to be extracted, are performed by means of thin straight elevator in cautious non-traumatic way, with preservation of both inter-root septum and external cortical and palatal plate of extracted tooth socket itself. After that, edges of socket are pressed with fingers with gauze pad to approach soft tissues.
