Disclosed is an apparatus for dispensing a medicament. The apparatus has: a housing having a first end and a second end and having a reservoir being arranged to hold a medicament a rotatable means to enable a user to select a dose size of a medicament being a rotatable barrel and being adapted such that it has a safety means which prevents a medicament being expelled from the housing if the barrel is rotated in direction opposite to the direction which a user would rotate the barrel to select the dose size a medicament expelling means an activation member at the first end of the housing, the member adapted to be moved by a user between an initial position and an actuated position and a removable disc member covering second end of the housing, the member being adapted to prevent medicament from dripping or leaking from it when the member is covering the end the apparatus is formed such that when in use a user can select the dose size of a medicament using the rotatable means and when the activation member is moved to the actuated position it causes an audible sound and also causes the expelling means to expel the medicament from the second end of the housing.
