A system and method for multi-mode authentication and certification of an individual™s identity by collecting and correlating heart signal waveforms taken from different parts of the human body. The system comprises two sources to capture videos, simultaneously of two different body parts of the human body. A selection module and a tracking module of the system selects a portion of the videos, simultaneously recorded by two sources and tracks features of the heart signal waveforms of the selected portion of the videos. An analysis module of the system analyze features of the heart signal waveforms. The correlation module takes these features as a first input and a second input and correlate these features on a standard plot. The output of the correlation analysis will approve or discard the authentication and certification of the individual™s identity.
