Problem to be solved: to provide a pest catcher for capturing the insects, such as cockroaches invading indoors, and killing them or moving them to the release site.Solution: the trap 2 is captured by the invading insect pests, and the insertion plate 3 inserted between the trap 2 and the floor surface. The trap 2 comprises a rectangular box body, two guide rails, a stopper plate and a cap. The rectangular box body is made of transparent material, and it can be opened and closed with a hole in one side wall. The two guide rails are recessed in cross section and are attached to the lower side wall of the opposing two sides of the rectangular box body with a lateral attitude facing the concave release side.The insertion plate 3 is formed into a square plate in which both sides can be inserted into the concave portion of two guide rails.
