PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ditching machine in which an advancing mechanism having a driving power source can be remote-controlled by wireless control means, and a machine body is advanced by remote control of the advancing mechanism to operate a ditching part to form a drain ditch between a plurality of planting rows and seedlings on a farming field, thereby reducing burden of an operator and improving ditching operability.SOLUTION: A machine body 1 includes: an advancing mechanism 4 having a driving power source 3 a ditching part 2 that forms a drain ditch W on a farming field M and wireless control means 8 which enables remote control of the advancing mechanism.
