PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact container heat treatment device which performs heat treatment by dipping a container in a liquid stored in a dipping tank without lengthening a conveyance path.SOLUTION: A container 2 is intermittently conveyed by a conveying means 4 having holding means 8 holding the container 2 arranged at equal intervals. A dipping tank 10 is disposed below a container conveyance path to store a liquid 14 for heat treatment. Container lifting means 12 are arranged at the inlet and outlet sides of the dipping tank 10, respectively. The container 2 conveyed to the inlet of the dipping tank 10 is raised to be moved to an upper part in the dipping tank 10, and then lowered to be inserted into the liquid 14.
