PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-cancer agent which contains a palmitic acid amide compound as an active ingredient, is excellent in anti-cancer activity and is high in safety.
SOLUTION: There are provided a palmitic acid amide compound represented by formula (1) [wherein, R is piperidin-1-yl 3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-2(1H)-yl or 3,4-dihydroquinolin-1(2H)-yl] or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and the anticancer agent containing the palmitic acid amide compound or the pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient.
