Said methods allow the transplant of regenerated teeth even in cases in which the missing tooth region is large. One disclosed method includes a step in which a regenerated tooth bud is disposed and cultivated inside a spacer in vivo in a mammal. Said spacer is configured so as to be able to: prevent excessive pressure from being applied to the regenerated tooth bud from tissues inside the body of the mammal and prevent the regenerated tooth bud from extending more than a maximum tolerance. Furthermore, said spacer is configured such that the regenerated tooth bud disposed inside can connect with the area outside the spacer.
