PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CBE factor calculation method for simply and accurately calculating a CBE factor to be used in a boron neutron capture therapy.SOLUTION: A formula to be used for calculation of a CBE factor is determined by determining an initial value CBE0, a number F of boron atoms adjacent to another boron atom, and a dimension n of an arrangement of sets of boron atoms on the basis of an amount Nmax of the boron atoms in a cell in a saturation state, a threshold value Nth thereof, and a CBE factor CBE, which were experimentally obtained.
