[Problem] To provide: an inorganic solid material which can exhibit hydrogen sulfide slow-release performance at ambient temperature in the atmosphere and can be handled safely； a method for producing the inorganic solid material； and a hydrogen sulfide generation method using the material.[Solution] A layered double hydroxide having HS- and/or Sk2- (wherein k represents a positive integer) intercalated between layers thereof (i.e., a sulfide ion-containing LDH) is produced, and the sulfide ion-containing LDH is air-tightly packaged in a packaging material to form a packaged body and is stored in the form of the packaged body. For the generation of hydrogen sulfide, the packaging material in the packaged body is taken off to expose the sulfide ion-containing LDH in the atmosphere, so that hydrogen sulfide can be released slowly.Le problème décrit par la présente invention est de fournir : un matériau solide inorganique qui peut présenter des performances de libération lente de sulfure d'hydrogène à température ambiante dans l'atmosphère et qui peut être manipulé en toute sécurité ； une méthode de production du matériau solide inorganique ； et une méthode de génération de sulfure d'hydrogène utilisant le matériau. La solution selon l'invention porte sur un hydroxyde double stratifié ayant du HS- et/ou Sk2- (où k représente un nombre entier positif) intercalé entre des couches de celui-ci (c'est-à-dire, un LDH contenant des ions sulfure) est produit, et le LDH contenant des ions sulfure est emballé de manière étanche à l'air dans un matériau d'emballage pour former un corps emballé et est stocké sous la forme du corps emballé.
