The present invention relates to a Lactobacillus plantarum MBE/L2990 strain having an excellent α-rhamnosidase enzyme activities and a bioconversion activity of ginsenoside Re and Rb1 into ginsenoside Rg1 and Rg5, and a usage thereof.
