An airtight hemodialysis-salt container having rigidwalls and provided with a coupling arrangement forestablishing a flow connection with a dialysis apparatus,the container having a venting valve with a venting openingformed in a wall of the container. A seal-member isattached to the container wall by a local cementing orwelding connection so as to cover the venting opening on theinside of the container wall. The cementing or weldingconnection is structured and dimensioned so that, inresponse to a certain pressure difference between theambient air pressure and a partial vacuum generated by thedialysis apparatus in the interior of the container isreached, the seal member is at least partially opened.
