Gegenstand der vorliegenden Anmeldung ist die Verwendung von einem oder mehreren Indolund/oder Indolinderivaten zur Verbesserung des Egalisierungsvermögens von Färbemitteln, die mindestens eine Entwicklerkomponente und gegebenenfalls mindenstens eine Kupplerkomponente enthalten, wobei das beziehungsweise die Indol- und/oder Indolinderivate gemeinsam mit den übrigen Farbstoffvorprodukten auf die Fasern aufgetragen werden.
