PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing absorbent articles that suppresses the misalignment of a folding line in a crossing direction and folds a web having extending portions along a conveying direction.SOLUTION: The apparatus 100 for manufacturing absorbent articles includes a folding mechanism 120 that folds a web 7 having extending portions 41 based on each of folding lines along a carrying direction. The folding mechanism is positioned along the folding lines FL and has a folding belt 121 that is twisted so as to gradually change its angle relative to the web from the upstream side toward the downstream side in the conveying direction of the web.
