The invention relates to a method for assisting with the pruning of a plant (10) implemented by an electronic device (21), comprising the following steps: a. providing an electronic device (12； 22； 32) comprising a display area (16； 26； 36), and a camera (18； 28； 38)； b. taking at least one image of the plant (10) to be pruned using the camera (18； 28； 38) of the electronic device (12； 22； 32)； c. using a computer learning machine (30) preloaded with training data to determine cutting instructions； and d. displaying the cutting instructions on the display area (16； 26； 36) of the electronic device superimposed on the real image of the plant. The invention also relates to a system for assisting (40) with the pruning of a plant intended to implement the above method.L'invention porte sur une méthode d'assistance à la taille d'un végétal (10) mise en œuvre par un dispositif électronique (21), comportant les étapes suivantes : a. équiper d'un appareil électronique (12； 22； 32) comportant une zone d'affichage (16； 26； 36), et une caméra (18； 28； 38)； b. prendre au moins une image du végétal (10) à tailler à l'aide de la caméra (18； 28； 38)de l'appareil électronique (12； 22； 32)； c. utiliser une machine d'apprentissage informatique (30) préalablement entraînée avec des données d'apprentissage pour déterminer des instructions de coupe； et d. afficher les instructions de coupe sur la zone d'affichage (16； 26； 36) de l'appareil électronique en superposition à l'image réelle du végétal.L'invention porte également sur un système d'assistance (40) à la taille d'un végétal destiné à mettre en œuvre la méthode susvisée.
