The present invention, accordingly, relates to apolynucleotide comprising an expression controlsequence which allows seed specific expression of a nucleic acid of interestbeing operatively linked thereto. Moreover, the presentinvention contemplates vectors, host cells, non-human transgenic organismscomprising the aforementioned polynucleotide aswell as methods and uses of such a polynucleotide.
