A system for managing the supply of breast milk is disclosed. A system according to one aspect comprises a systematic container for containing milked milk. The computing device receives an image of breast milk in a structured container. By organizing, the size and type of the container as well as the scale and orientation can be recognized by the software and converted from the image into an accurate breast milk quantity. The milk data is then processed and analyzed to generate feedback on milking sessions such as logs, charts, reminders and the like.
