According to the present invention, a balloon catheter with improved visibility comprises: a catheter tube which is a long pipe shape in the longitudinal direction, includes a near end unit and a remote end unit, and has an inner cavity extended in the longitudinal direction between the near end unit and the remote end unit or therein; a balloon which is placed in the remote end unit of the catheter tube and is communicated with the inner cavity to be capable of expansion and contraction by a fluid introducing and discharging through the inner cavity; and a wire which is formed to penetrate the inner cavity and is extended by passing through the catheter tube and the balloon. The balloon has a contrast agent coated thereon and thus, a degree of expansion and contraction of the balloon can be checked. Accordingly, the contrast agent is coated on a surface of the balloon to improve visibility of the balloon, and when a fluid is injected by a catheter to expand the balloon, the visibility is not reduced even though a contrast agent having a high viscosity is diluted by a concentration lower than generally used concentration to be injected. According to a degree of coating of the contrast agent, even though the contrast agent is not injected, the expansion and contraction of the balloon can be easily checked such that time consumed in expansion and contraction of the balloon catheter can be reduced and the visibility is improved.
