PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical stopcock facilitating switching operation of flow paths of a plurality of bifurcation tubes.SOLUTION: A medical stopcock body 10 is constituted of a chamber portion 11 whose inner face is formed in a substantial spherical face shape, an upstream bifurcation tube 12, a downstream bifurcation tube 13, and a merging bifurcation tube 14 extending outward respectively from the chamber portion 11. Further, a valve body 20 is constituted of a valve body 21 with a substantially spherical shape and a rodlike operating portion 22. Furthermore, a guide hole 15 passing through from the inner wall to the outside is provided in the chamber portion 11, the valve body 21 is put into the chamber portion 11, and the rodlike operation portion 22 is protruded from the guide hole 15 to the outside. The predetermined bifurcation tubes of the upstream bifurcation tube 12, the downstream bifurcation tube 13, and the merging bifurcation tube 14 are constituted so as to communicate with each other or block each other through a horizontal flow path 23 and a vertical flow path 24 by moving the rodlike operating portion 22 along the guide hole 15 forming the horizontal flow path 23 and the vertical flow path 24 in the valve body 21.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】 複数の分岐管の流路の切り替え操作が容易になる医療用活栓を提供すること。【解決手段】 医療用活栓本体10を、内面が略球面状に形成されたチャンバー部11と、チャンバー部11からそれぞれ外側に延びる上流分岐管12、下流分岐管13および合流分岐管14で構成した。また、弁体20を略球形の弁本体21と棒状操作部22とで構成した。そして、チャンバー部11に内面から外部に貫通するガイド孔15を設けて、弁本体21を、チャンバー部11内に入れ、棒状操作部22をガイド孔15から外部に突出させた。また、弁本体21に、水平流路23と垂直流路24を形成して、棒状操作部22をガイド孔15に沿って移動させることにより、水平流路23と垂直流路24を介して、上流分岐管12、下流分岐管13および合流分岐管14のうちの所定の分岐管どうしを連通させたり遮断させたりできるようにした。【選択図】 図5
