PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent articles capable of inhibiting lowering of absorption performance and deterioration in wearing texture by inhibiting particles of a highly absorbent polymer from being exposed to a skin-facing surface.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 10, a liquid-impermeable backside sheet 20, and an absorber 30 provided between the top sheet and the backside sheet. The absorber 30 includes a first absorber layer 31 including particles of a highly absorbent polymer, and a second absorber layer 32 disposed on a skin-facing surface side of the first absorber layer 31 and including no particles of the highly absorbent polymer.
