PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispensing inspection device and method, and a program capable of reliably inspecting whether or not dispensing has been properly performed.SOLUTION: A dispensing inspection device detects a medicine name using optical character recognition and/or code recognition from a first image 110 taken of a medicine sheet placed on a first placement table by a first imaging device 26. The dispensing inspection device detects the number of medicine sheets from a second image 120 taken of the medicine sheets placed on the first placement table by a second imaging device 28, detects the number of fractional medicines from a third image 130 taken of fractional medicines placed on a second placement table by a third image device 30, and detects a total number of medicines.
