PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine with a body holding function which prevents loads on a human body from becoming overloads.SOLUTION: A human body holding member 4 for holding a part of the human body 2 placed between the human body holding member 4 and a massage machine body 1 is provided so as to prevent the movement of the human body 2 in the direction of separating a part to be treated from the massage machine body 1 when pressurizing the part to be treated of the human body 2 by a treater. In order to reduce the loads acting on the human body 2 from the human body holding member 4 before becoming the overloads when the loads grows larger, the massage machine is provided with: an overload detection part 5 for monitoring pressurizing power acting on the human body holding member 4 from the human body 2 and outputting overload signals when the pressurizing power reaches a prescribed value and a load reduction part for receiving the overload signals from the overload detection part 5 and reducing power acting between the treater and the human body holding member 4.COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI【課題】人体に対する負荷が過負荷にならないようにする身体保持機能付マッサージ機を提供する。【解決手段】施療子によって人体2の被施療部位を押圧するときにマッサージ機本体1から被施療部位が離れる向きの人体2の移動を防止するように、マッサージ機本体1との間に人体2の一部を保持する人体保持部材4を備える。人体保持部材4から人体2に対して作用する負荷が大きくなるとその負荷が過負荷になる前に低減されるように、人体2から人体保持部材4に対して作用する押圧力を監視しその押圧力が所定値に達すると過負荷信号を出力する過負荷検出部5と、過負荷検出部5から過負荷信号を受けて施療子と人体保持部材4との間に作用する力を低減する負荷低減部とを備える。【選択図】図1
