PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a more appropriate excision method in view of the position of an abnormal area in an organ and the positional relationship among the target organ and the surrounding organs in a surgical support device which presents the area to be excised including the abnormal area in the organ.SOLUTION: This surgical support device comprises: a medical image-capturing means 11 for capturing a three-dimensional medical image of a subject a target tissue area-extracting means 12 for extracting the area of the target tissue from the three-dimensional medical image having been captured by the medical image-capturing means 11 an abnormal area-extracting means 13 for extracting an abnormal area from the target tissue area having been extracted by the target tissue area-extracting means 12 an excision method-acquiring means 16 for acquiring a plurality of excision methods in which the area to be excised is set up satisfying respective requirements for determining the area to be excised relative to the abnormal area on the basis of a plurality of conditions for determining the area to be excised and an excision method-presenting means 17 for presenting the plurality of excision methods having been acquired by the excision method-acquiring means.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
