PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a case wherein announcement cannot be made to medical staffers carrying portable terminal units because a mode in every portable terminal unit carried by each medical staffer is set to a call rejection mode.SOLUTION: A nurse call master unit 10 obtains presence information indicating that the call rejection mode is set to reject a call from a patient from a portable terminal unit 50. If all the portable terminal units 50 are in the call rejection mode, alarm information indicating that no portable terminal unit 50 that can respond to the call from the patient is present is transmitted to all of a plurality of predetermined portable terminal units 50. The alarm is notified in these portable terminal units 50 based on the alarm information.
