PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Drosophila model (second generation Drosophila) capable of being used for the functional analysis of SCO2, a screening of a preventing or treating agent of diseases caused by the SCO2, or the like, the Drosophila (first generation Drosophila) corresponding to the parent generation thereof capable of preparing the Drosophila model, and a method for utilizing them, and the like.SOLUTION: The Drosophila is introduced with (i) a polynucleotide encoding a protein having a structure and function equivalent to those of the SCO2 and (ii) a polynucleotide encoding an RNA molecule inhibiting the expression of an endogeneous SCO2 gene, and further, the Drosophila is introduced with a season and/or tissue specifically expressing promotor. By using such Drosophila, the method for screening the preventing or treating agent of the diseases caused by abnormal expression of the SCO2 is constituted.
