The concentrated liquid diet of the present invention is aconcentrated liquid diet having a total amount of a medium-chainfatty acid having 8 carbon atoms and a medium-chainfatty acid having 10 carbon atoms included as constitutivefatty acids of a triglyceride being 2.5 to 8.0 g per 100 kcalof the energy of the concentrated liquid diet, theconcentrated liquid diet having in the total mass of themedium-chain fatty acid having 8 carbon atoms and the medium-chainfatty acid having 10 carbon atoms the rate of themedium-chain fatty acid having 10 carbon atoms being no lessthan 60% by mass, and the rate of the medium-chain fatty acidhaving 8 carbon atoms being no greater than 40% by mass.
