A half-circular double stapler (1) allows application of wire stitches and resection of the rectal prolapse without the need of using two circular staplers. In fact, a fastener-pushing system is divided into at least two bodies (101, 102) which can be activated independently, each body having a semi-circular shape. The stapler comprises a gun-shaped handgrip, a pair of triggers (51, 52) and a cursor arranged laterally for a quick closure of anvil (2) and feeder (3). The stapler further comprises a switching button (105) arranged between said first (101) and said second (102) fastener-pushing bodies.
