PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of cooling any equipment without raising a cost.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus comprises a rotation portion, a stationary portion and a plurality of pieces of electric equipment. The rotation portion includes an X-ray source for irradiating a specimen with an X-ray, and rotates the X-ray source on the body axis of the specimen. The stationary portion includes a pair of longitudinal frames for supporting the rotation portion in a clamping manner from the outer circumference, and a transverse frame connecting the lower end portions of the paired longitudinal frames to each other. The plurality of pieces of electric equipment include an electric power source for supplying an electric power to the X-ray source. The plurality of pieces of electric equipment are housed in a corner portion having a generally triangular section shape composed of a transverse frame and the aforementioned longitudinal frame.
