The invention relates to the field of pharmaceuticals and relates to novel pharmaceutical compositions for topical use which are based on epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) and ionized silver, and to methods for treating mucocutaneous manifestations of herpes virus infection and preventing influenza and acute respiratory viral infections with the help of said compositions. The technical result of the invention consists in providing a high efficacy of the composition in treating local manifestations of herpes infection, in treating cutaneous manifestations of varicella zoster infection and in preventing influenza and acute respiratory viral infections. The pharmaceutical composition for treating local manifestations of infections caused by the herpes simplex virus and for preventing influenza and acute respiratory viral infections includes an extract of green tea containing 70-90 mass% epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), colloidal silver and a gel-forming base in the following amounts: 1.0-10.0 mass% green tea extract containing 70-90 mass % EGCG 0.1-1.0 mass% colloidal silver the remainder being gel-forming base.Linvention concerne le domaine de la pharmacie et porte sur de nouvelles compositions pharmaceutiques à usage topique sur la base dépigallocatéchine-3-gallate (EGCG) et dargent ionisé et des procédés de traitement de manifestations sur la peau et les muqueuses de linfection virale par le herpès et dinfections virales respiratoires aiguës. Le résultat technique consiste à assurer une efficacité élevée de la composition lors du traitement des manifestations locales dune infection par le herpès, dans le traitement des manifestations cutanées de la varicelle ou pour la prévention dinfections respiratoires virales aiguës.
