Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Verfahren zur Reduzierung der Transpiration des Körpers und/oder zur Reduzierung des durch die Transpiration ausgelösten Körpergeruchs, bei welchem ein schweißhemmendes kosmetisches Mittel (M1), welches eine Phosphonatverbindung mit Amin- und/oder Hydroxylgruppen aufweist, auf die menschliche Haut appliziert werden und für mindestens 1 Stunde am Applikationsort verbleiben. Der Einsatz der mindestens einen Phosphonatverbindung mit Amin- und/oder Hydroxylgruppen in diesen Verfahren führt zu einer schweißhemmenden Wirkung bzw. zur Verminderung des durch Schweiß ausgelösten Körpergeruchs.The present invention relates to methods for reducing body perspiration and/or for reducing the body odor resulting from perspiration.
