The present invention relates to a novel use of the extract of Quillaia saponaria soapsort, it can be used for producing the composition of medicine for preferably combining that composition is its oral prevention and the control for the bacterial disease in fish with food. The invention further relates to composition of medicine and food composition comprising the extract of Quillaia saponaria soapsort, prevention and control for the bacterial disease in fish.The present invention provides a new use of Quillaja extracts for manufacturing a medicinal composition for the prevention and control of bacterial diseases in fish, which is preferably administered orally in combination with food. Other objects of the invention are related to a medicinal composition and a food composition for the prevention and control of bacterial diseases in fish comprising said Quillaja extracts.
