PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve removing performance of water droplets stuck to an endoscope.SOLUTION: When a start switch 51 is turned on, a water removing/drying operation of an endoscope 2 is started, and an air spray nozzle 17c is lowered from an upper limit position, while air is sprayed to an insertion section 3, and further an air spray nozzle 18c is lowered from the upper limit position, while air is sprayed to a universal cord 5, so that water droplets stuck to the insertion section 3 and the universal cord 5 are removed downward along the outer surface. When the air spray nozzles 17c and 18c reach lower limit positions, solenoid valves 32 and 33 are closed to shut off the air supply to blowout parts 16 and 19, so that flow velocity of the air blowing out from the air spray nozzle parts 17c and 18c is increased to accelerate dropping of the droplets from lower ends of the insertion section 3 and the universal cord 5, thereby improving removing performance of the droplets.
