Compounds formed by combining a carboxylic acid herbicide with N-((C1- C16) alkyl or arylalkyl) tri((C1-C16) alkyl)ammonium hydroxide have herbicidal activity on an acid equivalent basis at least as active as the commercially used carboxylic acid herbicide salts, but are less volatile.La presente invención se refiere a un compuesto herbicida que contiene el producto de reacción de triclopir,aminopiralid, clopiralid, fluroxipir, picloram, chihalofop, fluazifop, haloxifop, clodinafop, fenoxaprop, dicamba, glufosinato o glifosato y un hidróxido (tetraalquilo)amonio de la fórmula en la cual R1, R2 y R3 representan de manera independiente alquilo C1-C16 o cualesquiera dos de R1, R2 y R3 repesentan -(CH2)n- en donde n es un número entero de 3-5 y R4 representa alquilo oarilalquilo de C2-C16.
