PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder inhalation instrument by which powder can be inhaled by a small amount in a plurality of times, and which has a relatively simple structure and can be manufactured at a low cost and efficiently.SOLUTION: The powder inhalation instrument 1 includes: a container body 2 having an inhalation opening 4 and a powder storing part 5 an open-air inlet 8 formed on the peripheral face of the container body 2 a partitioning member 9 provided for opposing the open-air inlet 8 in the container body 2, so as to divide the internal space into a first air passage 10 communicating with the open-air inlet 8 and a second air passage 11 communicating with the inhalation opening 4 and an intercepting wall part 12 provided in the first air passage 10 for intercepting the air from the open-air inlet 8 flowing toward the inhalation opening 4. The back end part of the partitioning member 9 is arranged with a predetermined distance a spaced from the deepest end part of the powder storing part 5, and the air from the open-air inlet 8 passes through the first air passage 10 and is supplied to the powder storing part 5, while powder mixed air passes through the second air passage 11 and is supplied to the inhalation opening 4.
