PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make use of a fishing rod in anglers empirical guess of the kind or size of a hooked fish from force of a tug by the fish or vibration from the fish, a so-called strike, when the fish is hooked using the fishing rod.SOLUTION: A fishing rod is mounted with a strike acoustic system which acquires, using a microphone, vibration generated in the fishing rod such as force of a tug or vibration thereof when a load is imposed and a rod tip is pulled in, converts an acquired sound signal into a wireless signal with a transmitter, and wirelessly transmits it to a receiver side.
