A method of treating or preventing graft versus host disease (GVHD) in a subject receiving a graft comprising hematopoietic cells is provided. The method comprises contacting the graft ex vivo with an amount of a Myxoma Virus effective to inhibit proliferation of T lymphocytes in the graft and to treat or prevent GVHD in the host subject following infusion of the graft into the subject. After the contacting of the graft with the Myxoma Virus, the method comprises transplanting the virus-treated graft into the subject.Linvention concerne une méthode de traitement ou de prévention dune maladie du greffon contre lhôte (GVHD) chez un sujet recevant une greffe comprenant des cellules hématopoïétiques. Le procédé comprend la mise en contact du greffon ex vivo avec une quantité dun Virus Myxoma efficace pour inhiber la prolifération des lymphocytes T dans le greffon et pour traiter ou prévenir la GVHD chez le sujet hôte suivant la perfusion du greffon au sujet. Après la mise en contact du greffon avec le Virus Myxoma, le procédé comprend la transplantation du greffon traité par le virus à lintérieur du sujet.
