PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper planter enabling easier cultivation of plants by solving problems of watering, transportation and the like in a conventional plastic, ceramic or unglazed planter. SOLUTION: The paper planter is structured by molding a laminated material prepared by laminating at least a paper layer and a sealant layer via a melting extrusion resin layer. In the paper planter, the sealant layer has a barrier film layer at the side of the melting extrusion resin layer; the surface of the paper layer at the side of the melting extrusion resin layer has an uneven part preliminarily embossed into an uneven state before lamination; and a clay-coat layer is laminated on the uneven part.
