A fluid delivery system includes a pressurizing mechanism. The pressurizing mechanism includes: a body, preferably cylindrical, having a movable member positioned therein that divides the body into a first chamber and a second chamber； a plunger rod connected to a first side of the movable member and extending through a substantially closed first end of the body； and an elongated member connected to a second side of the movable member and extending through a substantially closed second end of the body. The plunger rod configured to operatively engage a fluid container. Fluid is dispensed from the fluid container by forming a vacuum within at least the first chamber by moving the movable member toward the second end of the body, allowing atmospheric pressure to enter the second chamber, and actuating the pressurizing mechanism to cause the moving member to move towards the first end of the body.La présente invention concerne un système d'administration de fluide comprenant un mécanisme de mise sous pression. Le mécanisme de mise sous pression comprend : un corps, de préférence cylindrique, comprenant un élément mobile positionné en son sein, divisant le corps en une première chambre et en une seconde chambre ； une tige de piston reliée à un premier côté de l'élément mobile et s'étendant à travers une première extrémité pratiquement fermée du corps ； et un élément allongé relié à un second côté de l'élément mobile et s'étendant à travers une seconde extrémité pratiquement fermée du corps. La tige de piston est conçue pour s'insérer de manière fonctionnelle dans un récipient de fluide. Le fluide est administré à partir du récipient de fluide en formant un vide au sein au moins de la première chambre en déplaçant l'élément mobile vers la seconde extrémité du corps, permettant à la pression atmosphérique d'entrer dans la seconde chambre, et en actionnant le mécanisme de mise sous pression pour amener l'élément mobile à se déplacer vers la première extrémité du corps.
