The invention provides a chair with getting-up assistance by self-action, which comprises two chair leg armrests, a chair seat and a backrest. An arc-shaped front end portion is disposed in front of the bottom of the two chair leg. An arc-shaped groove is disposed below the lower inner surface of the two chair legs. The arc-shaped groove is configured with a protruded arc-shaped guiding groove on the side. Both ends at the rear side of a footrest are protruded with round columns, wherein the round column may be sliding in the guiding groove and is pivoted with the front end of a rear pulling rod. The armrest is pivoted with two pressing rods. The front ends of the two pressing rods are pivoted with the front end of a front pulling rod, wherein the rear end of the front pulling rod is pivoted with the rear end of the rear pulling rod.
