PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sea urchin roe-like food which uses, as a raw material, the gonads of a scallop, the edible parts, so as to making practical use of the residue of the soft parts of a scallop, which is abandoned when the scallop is processed, as useful food processing resources and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: In a method for producing a sea urchin roe-like food, after the gonads of a boiled scallop are crushed with a meat-grinding machine, a prepared seasoning is added, and the gonads are boiled down, and then 0.5-5 wt.% of curdlan and trehalose are each added and kneaded together to gain a sea urchin roe-like food.
