The invention is directed to compositions for the prophylaxis, treatment and recovery of overtraining syndrome. Compositions comprising a combination of parts of plants or plant extracts belonging to Crassulaceae, Araliaceae and Schisandraceae for the prophylaxis and treatment of overtraining syndrome. In a preferred embodiment the composition further comprises parts of plants or plant extracts of Asteraceae and or pantothenic acid or salts thereof.Linvention concerne des compositions pour la prophylaxie, le traitement et la guérison du syndrome de surentraînement. Linvention concerne également des compositions comprenant une combinaison de parties de plantes ou dextraits de plantes appartenant aux familles Crassulaceae, Araliaceae et Schisandraceae pour la prophylaxie et le traitement du syndrome de surentraînement. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, la composition comprend en outre des parties de plantes ou des extraits de plantes de la famille Asteraceae et/ou de lacide pantothénique ou des sels de celui-ci.
