摘要:
Methods and systems for analyzing operation of a cochlear stimulation system. An audio stimulus is generated to make the cochlear stimulation system operate. During operation, the intracochlear electrodes generate signals into the auditory nerve system. The response of the patient's nervous system may be measured as an electrical cochlear response ("ECR"). The ECR may be detected and analyzed for adaptation, calibration, operational evaluation and fault detection of the patient's cochlear implant. Furthermore, the example methods may be utilised to estimate the audiometric thresholds of the implanted patient without his knowledge.
