Provided by the present invention is a skin care method including: a step (a) of irradiating intense pulsed light (IPL) to the skin of a mammal； and a step (b) of applying a composition including stem cell-derived exosomes as an active ingredient to the skin of a mammal which is a target of the IPL irradiation before or after the IPL irradiation. The skin care method of the present invention: reduces skin redness which is a side effect caused by IPL irradiation by applying stem cell-derived exosomes to skin with the IPL irradiation； and has effects of reducing pain, burning and stinging caused by the IPL irradiation and soothing skin.
