PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchrotron capable of achieving a stable outgoing beam over a wide range of a current value, and performing control at a high speed with a high accuracy, and to provide a particle beam therapy system using the same.SOLUTION: A particle beam therapy system 100 is configured by a synchrotron 200, a beam transport system 300, and an irradiation device 500. An emission control device 600A, 600B of a control device 600 detects a current value of a charged particle beam by beam monitors 33 and 52 in the beam transport system 300 and a medical treatment room 400, and performs feedback control of an amplitude of a high-frequency voltage of an emission device 26 and a frequency of a high-frequency voltage of an accelerating cavity 25 so that the current value is accorded with a target value.
