PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the conventional electric heating cautery needle that is inserted into a body and cauterizes an affected part such as tumor by electric heating, has one or a plurality of problems in high temperature rising/lowering speed, local heat generation, temperature controllability, and economic efficiency that are required in the electric heating cautery needle.SOLUTION: An electric heating cautery needle 1 is formed by: connecting an electric resistance wire 8 to a cable conductor 4 bared from a tip end of a mineral insulated cable (MI cable) 2 that stores a pair of cable conductors 4 and a pair of thermocouple wires 5 in a metal tube 3 via mineral insulated material powder 6 joining tip ends 10 of the pair of thermocouple wires 4 that are bared simultaneously to form a thermocouple adding a tip metal tube 7 for covering them thereto and filling it with the mineral insulated material powder 11 and sealing it with a tip end lid 12 with a pointed tip.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
