PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect pest-controlling tool without giving adverse effects to the growth of a plant, capable of performing its installation work quickly and also irradiating with light for the insect pest control uniformly to all of the plants becoming objectives.
SOLUTION: This insect pest-controlling tool is provided by including solar cells 4, a battery, and a plurality of light-emitting diodes 6 irradiating green colored light by the power supply from the battery, constituting a light-irradiating part 11 by arranging the light-emitting diodes 6 in at least in vertical direction by taking an interval on a base plate 9 constituted as a vertically long form, arranging the solar cells 4 at an upper end of the light-irradiating part 11 and including a means 12 capable of standing by itself at the light-irradiating part 11.
