PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to immediately and easily specify a medical pump in which an alarm is generated when a plurality of medical pumps are mounted on a rack and used.SOLUTION: In a medical pump system, a plurality of medical pumps 201 are mounted on a rack 101. The rack 101 determines whether or not a start notification indicating the start of a setting operation or an end notification indicating the completion of a setting operation has been received from one of the plurality of mounted medical pumps 201 via a communication unit for communicating with a plurality of the mounted medical pumps 201. When a start notification is received from one medical pump 201, an inhibition command that inhibits acceptance of user operations is transmitted via the communication unit to all of the other medical pumps 201. When an end notification is received from one medical pump 201, a cancellation command that cancels the inhibited status resulting from the inhibition command is transmitted to all of the other medical pumps 201.【課題】ラックに複数の医療用ポンプを装着して用いた際に、警報発生中の医療用ポンプを使用者が直ちに且つ容易に特定できるようにする。【解決手段】複数の医療用ポンプ２０１がラック１０１に装着された医療用ポンプシステムであって、ラック１０１は、装着されている複数の医療用ポンプ２０１と通信するための通信部を介してそれら医療用ポンプ２０１の一つから設定操作の開始を示す開始通知または設定操作の終了を示す終了通知が受信されたか否かを判定する。一つの医療用ポンプ２０１から開始通知を受信した場合は、他の医療用ポンプ２０１の全てに、ユーザ操作の受付を禁止する禁止指示を通信部を介して送信する。また、一つの医療用ポンプ２０１から終了通知を受信した場合、禁止指示による禁止の状態を解除させる解除指示を他の医療用ポンプ２０１の全てに送信する。【選択図】図５
