A method, device, and system for modifying or destroying selected tissue, byselecting an area of tissue for treatment, collecting the area between aplurality of energy transmitting elements, applying an electric current and/orelectromagnetic radiation between the energy transmitting elements, andapplying the electric current and/or electromagnetic radiation until, forexample, the cells are modified or destroyed. Cooling may be applied toprevent unwanted modification. Conducting mediums may be applied to controltissue modification. Embodiments of the present invention may be used fortreatment of fat cells, acne, lesions, tattoo removals etc.
