To provide a skin image capturing system capable of easily capturing a skin image of a lesioned part of the skin necessary for skin observation including information on each of a skin hue and a three-dimensional effect of a skin surface.SOLUTION: A skin image capturing system 1 for capturing a skin image for observation of a lesioned part of the skin includes: a line sensor 13 for capturing a row image of the skin； a lens system 13R fixed to the line sensor 13 for forming an image of the skin on the line sensor 13； a light source for applying an irradiation light； and an image capturing position changing mechanism 12 for synchronizing relative positions of the lens system 13R, the line sensor 13, and the light source, and moving them when changing image capturing positions of the line sensor 13 and the light source respectively.
