A method of forming an implant having a porous region replicated from scanned bone, the method comprising imaging bone with a high resolution digital scanner to generate a three-dimensional design model of the bone removing a three-dimensional section from the design model fabricating a porous region on a digital representation of the implant by replacing a solid portion of the digital implant with the section removed from the digital representation and using an additive manufacturing technique to create a physical implant including the fabricated porous region.Linvention concerne un procédé pour former un implant ayant une région poreuse reproduite à partir dun os balayé, le procédé comprenant limagerie dun os à laide dun dispositif de balayage numérique à haute résolution pour générer un modèle de conception tridimensionnel de los le retrait dune section tridimensionnelle du modèle de conception la fabrication dune région poreuse sur une représentation numérique de limplant par remplacement dune partie solide de limplant numérique par la section retirée de la représentation numérique et lutilisation dune technique de fabrication dadditif pour créer un implant physique comprenant la région poreuse fabriquée.
